Sonia Ramírez (Barcelona) studied a History of Art degree and subsequently a Masters in Film Direction at the Escuela Superior de Cine y Audiovisuales de Catalunya (ESCAC). She directed several short films and in 2005 she started working as an AD in film and commercials, until 2009, when she began to direct her first advertising campaigns. Since then, she has been working with renowned advertising agencies in Barcelona, Madrid, France, Italy, US and Mexico. She has been awarded by the Sol Festival, CdeC and EFFIEs.
