Tony Kaye (London) directs films, music videos, ads and documentaries, as well as being a screenwriter, actor, singer and painter. His first feature film was “American History X” (1998), starring Edward Norton and nominated to the Academy Awards as well as to many others worldwide. Detachment, starring Adrien Brody, won many international prizes, including the Revelations Prize and the International Critics’ Award at the Deauville American Film Festival in France. He has also made several well-known music videos like “Runaway Train” by Soul Asylum, which won a Grammy Award, or “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash, with celebrities such as Sharon Stone, Owen Wilson and Kanye West. Tony has been nominated six times for the Grammy Award for Best Music Video Director.
